The Thorlux Light Line Integra is an extension to the extremely successful suspended direct/indirect Thorlux Light Line range.
The Integra is designed as an all-in-one lighting and cable trunking solution featuring shielded cable channels to allow the routing of telecommunications/IT cabling and the integration of ancillary equipment such as fire detection and public address systems. It also features optional acoustic attenuation wings for areas where acoustic performance is essential.

Thorlux Lighting is committed to minimising the environmental impact of both its manufacturing processes and its products. However, even with the most responsible approach, some carbon dioxide (CO2) will be released into the atmosphere as an indirect result of factory and selling activities and customers' use of luminaires. Thorlux has therefore designed an ambitious carbon-offsetting scheme to help compensate for these emissions.

Jubilee is a shallow profile surface mounted luminaire suitable for most internal environments, particularly schools and hospitals. Co-extruded 'Satin-Glo' polycarbonate controller provides a high efficiency, low glare solution. It is suitable for defined escape routes.
Jubilee-XL with its 'Satin-Glo' polycarbonate side controllers provides high angle illuminance and a Miro aluminium louvre, with excellent optical design, helps easy LG7 compliance. A surface mounted luminaire it is suitable for use in schools, colleges, hospitals and areas with computer screens.

Thorlux have launched a revolutionary automatic testing and reporting system for emergency lighting. Scanlight AT combines a number of technologies including LEDs, mobile communications and the Internet to provide a “fit and forget” system.
Emergency lighting testing is always a problem due to the frequency of regular testing laid down in legislation and the associated costs. Scanlight AT overcomes these problems because it is genuinely pro-active. All emergency luminaires and exit signs are regularly tested by Scanlight AT devices, and the user is informed of the test results by email. Detailed status information and all records can then be viewed on the secure web-site.

The new Thorlux industrial "Pitlight" luminaire has been specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements associated with Maintenance Pit Lighting. Network Rail Engineers have formally endorsed the use of the "Pitlight" and selected the luminaire for use on a number of projects which have now been successfully completed. This IP66 luminaire has a stainless steel body and cover frame, which protects against ingress of moisture and corrosion from diesel oil, engine oil, and cleaning fluids. The front cover panel is available in clear or internally etched toughened safety glass or alternatively clear polycarbonate. The design incorporates quick release front cover fastenings to allow easy access for re-lamping and maintenance.

The excellent photometric performance which includes versions to help comply with CIBSE LG3: 2001/LG7: 2005 is based on the use of the new generation of PLL lamps providing 20,000 hour lamp life. This enables solutions that may have previously used four lamps per luminaire to be achieved with only one lamp per luminaire.

NEW SOLOW T5 INSTALLATION

Doncasters Deritend have installed 18 - T5 Solow 4 x 54W to give 750 Lux in a specialist casting inspection area. Thoroproof T5 35W luminaires were used to uplight the industrial roofing area to assist with ceiling illumination and reduce glare to an absolute minimum by relieving contrast.
