Ancillary Areas

Whilst many areas within a mental health facility require ligature-resistant luminaires this does not apply to all spaces. Some facilities will opt to use ligature resistant products, regardless of the type of space, for consistency and maintenance reasons while others will use robust, non ligature resistant luminaires. Typically, areas that come within this category include offices, meeting rooms, staff rooms and circulation spaces.
