Highly sustainable exterior floodlights

Engineered with a commitment to environmental responsibility, each component of the Thorlux Acorn floodlight has been carefully selected to minimise any ecological impact throughout its lifecycle.

Key features include: an IP66-rated housing manufactured from European oak; a 100% post-industrial, recycled polycarbonate gear enclosure; and a 90% recycled aluminium gear tray and mounting bracket. A highly efficient driver and PMMA lenses help ensure low running costs, reducing operational carbon.

Acorn has achieved an industry-leading TM66 score of 3.1, verified as the highest published score for any luminaire under the LIA/CIBSE certification scheme TSD-012 to date.

The 2700 K colour-temperature version of Acorn is DarkSky-approved and emits zero upward light. When used with the SmartScan External lighting control system, the impact on its immediate environment can be minimised as far as practicably possible.

Applications: car parks, amenity areas, hospital estates, and general roadway.
